On the way to Debar, 20 km from Gostivar, on the shores of the Mavrovo artificial lake, are located the National Park of Mavrovo and the leading winter sports resort of Macedonia.
From Mavrovo, the road leads to the magnificent monastery of St. Jovan Bigorski, passing through the breathtaking canyon of the Radika River.
Between the 11th and the 19th centuries, the monastery was rebuilt several times. It is famous for its unique icon holder in deep woodcarving, as well as other sacral relics located inside the monastery.
On the way back to Ohrid, the road passes through the valley of the Crni Drim River and two other artificial lakes - Lake Debar and Lake Globocica.

The tour will begin from the hotel at 8.30.
The trip to Mavrovo will take about three hours. Guests will be taken on a sightseeing tour of the region, which will be followed by coffee break in Hotel Bistra.
The tour will then continue to St. Jovan Bigorski monastery, passing through the canyon of River Radika. The visit to the monastery will take about an hour. The tour will continue to Debar, where there will be a break for lunch on the shores of the Debar Lake, in very attractive natural environment.
After lunch, the tour will proceed to Ohrid, with photo breaks at Debar and Globocica lakes and passing the valley of the Crni Drim River.
Arrival at the hotel at 18.30 will mark the end of the tour.
