The Ohrid Summer Festival of international classical music and theatre is the best festival in Macedonia, since it hosts renowned artists from all over the world.
The special attractions of the festival are the performance places, such as the Church of St. Sophia, which is considered as one of the 20 places with the best acoustics. The other performing location is Ohrid's Antique Theatre, which brings visitors back in time to when the ancient tragedies and dramas were performed.
